This past weekend was probably one of the happiest I've had in a long time. Not to say that I don't enjoy every other weekend-I do. But something about this weekend just had me waking up happy this morning. (Which is a big deal, considering it's a Monday, I got 4 hours of sleep, and everybody else I know is off of work today.)

But I thought I'd share with you a few of the things that made my weekend so fantastic.

On Friday, I had a bonfire with my friends, Rick and Tanner, then we headed out to Ihop for a midnight surprise party that I'd planned for our friend Mike. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of Mike or the party, but it was a good time. I DID however, take a picture of my good friend Angie and I, and as vain as this is, one of my outfit for the evening, because it's probably my favorite thing that has ever been in my closet.

One of the happiest moments of my weekend was stumbling upon these at Wal-mart. My favorite time of the year is jelly bean season. I jumped up and down and squealed, and Rick and Tanner gave me funny looks because "they always sell jelly beans." (Which is false by the way-they don't always sell GOOD jelly beans.)
Saturday morning, I helped clean my church, then went to WATCH church softball. (Yeah, I'm that lame girl.) The weather in Arizona right now is beyond beautiful.
After doing a couple of clients at the salon, a few friends met at my house to go see Josiah Leming at Martini Ranch. We decided to stop at Sprinkles, which combined with a concert, is my idea of a perfect night.

Josiah was on season 7 of American Idol, but I'd never heard of him until Tanner lent me his CD a couple of months back. Needless to say, I fell in love. I talked to him after the show, and if he wasn't a solid 5 inches shorter than I am...ok, nothing would happen. But he's so talented. Look him up.

Sunday was fantastic-mostly because I slept past 11. Then there was church, a fireside, and a game night that got pretty crazy. (for us Mormons, that is.)

Life is so beautiful.
